Iris Map – “Healing Imaginative Journey for Children” features seven short films as part of Illuminart’s contemplative content. These films will enable children to change energy during their hospital stay, according to their emotional needs. From a menu of options, they can choose the type of energy they want to explore
The project
Each film will take the children on a short journey through their imagination, to relieve stress and allow them to feel a vibration within their being. During the workshops, the artist led the children on sensory journeys, using films, sounds, atmospheres and images designed to awaken the energies of the imagination.
They danced, created images, sang and told stories on the themes of mystery, peace, play, action, nature, wonder and inspiration.
The material generated by the children – their drawings, their stories, their filmed movements – is integrated into the artist’s work, to create the seven short films that are part of this new application.
