More broadly, the entire pediatric department will benefit from the Illuminart system and its artistic content. And it was in this department that the idea for Illuminart’s latest work, Cache-cache Parc, was born. In 2022, ADLC wants to develop more content for its Illuminart device, a new immersive work, and in the course of its exchanges with its various partners, particularly hospital partners, the animal world, nature, biodiversity, the great outdoors etc. are the themes and needs most often mentioned.
Dr. Rachieru-Sourrisseau suggests taking inspiration from the Bioparc de Doué la Fontaine , a zoological park committed to protecting biodiversity worldwide. Pr Guillaume Podevin, head of the Mother and Child Unit at Angers Hospital, suggests Terra Botanica , a park committed to promoting and protecting the world of plants and biodiversity. These two parks, emblematic of the Maine et Loire region, have great potential for artistic creativity. It’s a way for young patients to project themselves outside the hospital walls and outside hospitalization time.
The department is naturally involved in the production of Cache-cache Parc, and has exchanged ideas with the artists. On October 12, ADLC officially handed over Illuminart to Dr Rachieru and Pr Podevin’s team, as well as the new Cache-cache Parc work, in the presence of Pricille Formon, from Mécène & Loire. Their feedback will enable us to fine-tune and finalize the work by the end of the year.
