A graphic and educational game that brings animals and plants into the hospital

Cache-cache Parc is an interactive work of art that is both aesthetic, playful and educational. Four biomes are represented: jungle, savannah, mountain and swamp, each home to different plant and animal species. The player explores and moves the plants to reveal an animal, then discovers its name, call and information about its species.

The project
The animal world is a wonderful world that inspires dreams and feeds the imagination. During our art projects in various care facilities, we have often heard caregivers and patients request a work based on nature and animals. Hide-and-Seek Parc transforms a room or care room into a happy park, while educating the user.
All the species in the game are taken from the Bioparc de Doué la Fontaine (animal park), and elements of the décor were inspired by Terra Botanica (plant park), two Maine et Loire parks committed to promoting and protecting biodiversity. Creating a work of art based on existing parks is a way of building a bridge with the outside world; it’s a way for patients to project themselves outside the walls of the hospital and outside hospitalization time.
This project was carried out with the support of: the Air France foundation, the Fondation de France, the Orpea foundation, Mécène et Loire, the Keyrus foundation, the French Ministry of Culture, the Alphabe association in Angers, Pau Bearn Cancer and Vélodyssée GR34 in Pau.
